John Nathan is the Principal Lawyer of Bondi Law, established 2010. Formerly a public prosecutor for 20 years with the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Now practising as a Solicitor Advocate in criminal law and related matters.

Areas of expertise cover from Summary offenses in local courts to Indictable ones in District and Supreme Courts throughout New South Wales.

The Firm also engages in the practice of civil matters including conveyancing, migration law and claims for compensation.

Mr Nathan's personal attributes come from his multicultural heritage in Malaysia and having been educated and living in Bondi for the past 40 years, he has enhanced knowledge, skills and experience from interacting with different peoples from a variety of backgrounds, reflecting Australia's rich cultural diversity.

Mr Nathan is fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and Malay, and Tamil.

Mr Nathan received his Agricultural degree from Malaysia before completing his Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Philosophy, Religious Studies and Sanskrit, at the University of Sydney.
